These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NS Pulse website and community display board services (collectively, the "Services"). By submitting a lead form, requesting a display board, or advertising with NS Pulse, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Overview
NS Pulse provides free custom "Daily Specials" display boards to qualifying local host venues in Nova Scotia. Local trades and services may sponsor space on these boards for a flat monthly fee. We connect community venues with trusted neighborhood advertisers.
2. Lead Submissions Are Not Binding
Submitting a lead form does not guarantee board placement, partnership, or advertising sponsorship. All arrangements are subject to availability, mutual agreement, and execution of a formal agreement between you and NS Pulse. We reserve the right to decline any submission at our sole discretion.
3. Host Venue Obligations
Host venues agree to:
- Display the NS Pulse board in a visible, high-traffic area of the premises
- Keep the dry-erase "Today's Specials" section reasonably maintained
- Allow authorized NS Pulse representatives to install, inspect, or service the board with reasonable notice
- Notify NS Pulse of any damage, relocation, or change in ownership
4. Advertiser Obligations
Advertisers agree to:
- Provide accurate business name, contact information, and approved ad content
- Pay the agreed sponsorship fee in advance of each billing period unless otherwise arranged
- Notify NS Pulse of any changes to contact details or ad content
- Accept that board placement is subject to category exclusivity and availability
5. Content and Community Standards
NS Pulse reserves the right to screen all host venues and advertiser content to maintain local community standards. We may reject or remove any content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive, discriminatory, or otherwise inconsistent with the community-focused purpose of our network.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and materials provided by NS Pulse remain the property of NS Pulse unless otherwise agreed in writing. Advertisers retain ownership of their submitted logos and trademarks but grant NS Pulse a limited license to display them on approved boards.
7. Limitation of Liability
NS Pulse provides its Services on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NS Pulse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use of our Services or display boards.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Nova Scotia.
